| Keith Speaker at Conference in Canary Islands - Friday, July 29, 2011
This June Keith traveled to the Canary Islands where he was a guest presenter for the New Image European Hair Conference. Hair replacement specialists from all over Europe and the Middle East were in attendance. The conference featured new and innovative techniques and products for hair replacement.
New Image introduced an innovative new line called XT3. It features a new micro thin skin hair system that weighs less than 1oz. Along with the new hair they introduced the XT adhesive. In test cases the new XT adhesive lasted on average one week longer. Another exciting advancement presented was a new hair extension system that can be reused for 9- 12 months. The Europeans left excited and motivated about these new advancements in hair replacement.
Keith’s presentation was highlighted by a hair makeover on a burn victim who had lost 50% of her hair in an accident. The woman had been wearing a heavy braided weave for many years. Keith did a new Ladies Xt3 that was fully bonded to her scalp like a second layer of skin. She can now have anyone run their hands through her hair and feel nothing. It was truly life changing.

Keith and Kim attended the Redken Symposium in Las Vegas in January. Keith learned new coloring and cutting techniques, while Kim took some interesting business classes. We look forward to using the things we learned in Las Vegas in the Salons.

| Wedding Expo on November 20th - Monday, December 06, 2010On  November 20th Kelly and Lisa were at the Every Wedding Expo at the Wave Ballroom in Appleton. There was a great turn out for the event! | Keith's Haircenter Raises $10,736 for Ribbon of Hope - Friday, November 12, 2010October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During the month of October, Keith’s Haircenter provided pink extensions for a $10 donation to the Ribbon of Hope Foundation through Extending Hair Extending Hope. The  Ribbon of Hope Foundation is a charity that donates money to those in the area suffering from cancer. Through out the month of October Keith’s Haircenter did over 1,000 pink extensions and raised $10,736 for the Ribbon of Hope.
We would like to thank everyone who donated to this great cause and our staff for all their help. We would also like to thank the Jersey Store and the Donald Driver Foundation for donating giveaway prizes.
It was a great month and we cannot wait to do it again next October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

August is National Hair Loss Awareness Month. It’s important to understand that this issue affects over 80 million men and women across the country. Despite the fact that hair loss is a common condition, there are many myths and misconceptions about it, and there are few specialists helping those who suffer from hair loss. 
Keith’s Haircenter is one of the most well known and successful hair restoration centers in Wisconsin for both men and women. “National Hair Loss Awareness Month is a campaign designed to raise awareness about hair loss and the treatments available,” says Keith Zimmerman, owner of Keith’s Haircenter. Hair Loss comes in many different forms and is caused by many different things. Keith’s Haircenter is well educated on these causes which include Trichotillomania, Alopecia, burns, accidents and hair loss due to Chemotherapy.

| Keith’s is Striving to Help Cancer Patients with Looking Their Best - Wednesday, April 14, 2010
In the past couple days the Keith’s Haircenter staff has been busy.
On April 12th seven of our employees were trained with the Look Good…Feel Better program that the American Cancer Society puts on at area hospitals for people suffering from cancer. This program is really special. Each participant receives a b ag of make-up and other goodies worth up to $300. All of the products in this back have been donated by different cosmetic lines and distributors. During these sessions patients learn different make-up tricks to help them feel beautiful. The cosmetologist also helps the attendee’s with their questions about their hair loss. They give them tips on finding a good cranial prosthesis and how to take care of their wigs once they have them. We are excited to become a bigger part of this program. Our stylists are excited to be helping people and volunteering to give back to our community.
On April 13th Lisa and Kelly were invited to speak at the Northeast Wisconsin Oncology Nurse Society’s monthly meeting about what we offer for patients going through chemotherapy and radiation. The nurses were excited to hear about us trying to help patients with their insurance claim for a cranial prosthesis. The night went really well and we look forward helping patients with their hair loss.
